The DYS SE2205 2300kv motor is a special edition racing motor with massive thrust capabilities, over 1,100g!  This is a very high quality motor with imported NMB bearings, N52 magnets, and a hollow shaft which is held by a bolt vs the traditional c-clip design.  This motor was specifically designed for FPV racing and has on par or better performance when compared to the Emax RS2205 2300kv motor.

As we felt the need for a modern more simplified 32bit Flightcontroller, we made the KISS FC, which includes a complete own Flight Controll Firmware development who get rid of some old ballast, this took some time, but the result is very pleasing.
The Idea was to simplify some things and due to intensive long term testings of some pretty good Pilots we where able to optimize the code to a  point where you hopefully get your quad in the air quite quick.
Normally you just need to choose your Airframe in the GUI and are able to fly (at least with KISS ESC), otherwise you can download presets of well knowen Pilots for given configurations and of course can tweak the PID yourself over the GUI.
The software setup side is reduced as far we can, many things are allready taken in to account for you, if you bring some solid soldering skills you should be able to build your quad pretty quick.
A new feature is also the inbuild telemetry, in combination with our 32bit ESC line its possible to show the live telemetry data via OSD on your FPV live feed or in the KISS FC GUI
This way you get usefull informations like the Voltage of your battery, current consumption, ESC temperature and motor RPM.

Notice:

Before applying power, pay attention to the battery voltage selection.
The default setting is 1S (4.2V); if you use 2s lipo, please first need to disconnect pin2 and pin 3 and then solder pin 1 and pin2. Prohibit the same three pads shorted together.

 

 

FIRMWARE FLASH  -F3 EVO_Brush

 

The following tutorial covers flashing Cleanflight Firmware onto the F3 EVO_Brush Flight Controller. Betaflight is the same steps like Cleanflight.

 

Installing the ST drivers:

(For Windows Only)

Download and install the DfuSe demo package.

Open an explorer window and browse to (assuming you’ve installed to the default path) C:\Program Files (x86)\STMicroelectronics\Software\DfuSe v3.0.5\Bin\Driver

Browse two folders deeper to the folder relative to your Operating System version, and x86-32bit or x64-64bit variant.

Click the dpinst_x##.exe to install the driver.

 

Installing Cleanflight Configurator:

(For Windows Only)

You must use Cleanflight Configurator v 1.0.0 or newer.

The following assumes you also have the Chrome Browser installed.

Get the latest Cleanflight Configurator (+ Add to Chrome)

 

Replacing the ST Driver with WinUSB driver:

(For Windows Only)

  1. Plug your F3 EVO_Brush board onto your computer. Open cleanflight configurator , you should see the serial com port
  1. Click “Firmware Flash” menu, select the latest firmware for F3 EVO_Brush and load firmware [online] or load firmware [Local]
  1. Click “Flash Firmware” and wait the ST DFU DRIVER Automatic installation. It’s successfully installed when you see the DFU port on the Up right corner.
  1. Download and launch Zadig
  2. From Zadig, a.) Select Options, b.) Tick List All Devices

 

  1. a.) Select STM32 Bootloader from the dropdown, b.) Choose WinUSB as the replacement, c.) Click Replace Driver. Some times the Replace progress will be slow or no response, you can close it and do it again, you will find the dropdown is no STTUB30 but WinUSB, just click replace driver from WinUSB to WinUSB .

Flash Firmware

Go back to Cleanflight configurator and Click Flash Firmware , again after the Driver replace completed, and you will see the firmware flashed successfully!

This F3 EVO_Brush flight controller is only use for BRUSH MOTOR, Not compatible for BRUSHLESS MOTOR
