Made of steel and finished with a sleek, futuristic design, the RoboMaster EP Core is fully equipped with state-of-the-art technologies that provide constant support for classroom learning:

    Robotic Arm The EP Core's robotic arm is incredibly durable, yet compact and flexible. It supports precise FPV control, allowing students to complete tasks even when target objects are out of sight.
    Gripper The gripper transforms the EP Core into a powerful robot with multiple functions. Its practical structural design and adjustable gripper force allow it to firmly and reliably grasp and move objects of various shapes, weights and sizes.
    Mecanum wheels The EP Core comes with four Mecanum wheels, each with 12 rollers that allow omnidirectional movement and precision control. The front axle suspension allows for greater versatility during operation.
    High-performance servo As the propulsion driver for the EP Core, the servo supports custom control capabilities through the EP Core's main control board. It ensures high control accuracy and high output torque. It can also power the robotic arm and allow students to build lifting structures using their physics knowledge.
    Sensor adapter and power connector module Each sensor adapter has two ports and provides power. A power connector module can connect and power third-party hardware, providing multiple ports to connect hardware and create custom programs and applications.
    Intelligent controller Using a powerful CPU, the intelligent controller can simultaneously support functions such as low-latency high-definition image transmission, AI computing and program development. It also coordinates transmission smoothly to execute command signals.
    Infrared distance sensor With a measurement range of 0.1 to 10 meters, the infrared distance sensor provides reliable distance measurement information. This allows the EP Core to detect its surroundings and avoid obstacles, deepening students' understanding of advanced autonomous driving principles.

Compatible with third-party hardware

The RoboMaster EP Core is compatible with third-party open source hardware such as Micro:bit, Arduino and Raspberry Pi. These items can be connected and powered through the serial ports of the main chassis controller. The EP Core can also perform model training and scene recognition through AI platforms such as NVIDIA Jetson Nano and DJI's official SDK, enhancing students' understanding of AI operating principles.


Compatible with third-party sensors

The RoboMaster EP Core is equipped with four sensor adapters, making it possible to connect and power third-party sensors that measure data such as temperature, pressure, distance and more. The sensory data can even be used in Scratch, opening up endless programming possibilities.
Implementing AI in the real world

Endless programming possibilities are unlocked when using SDKs (software development kits). DJI's open SDK is available in the EP Core and supports over 39 programmable sensor ports. This allows students to use streaming data from sensor, video and audio modules to program AI applications and experience authentic AI technology.

Streaming video and audio data

High-definition video and audio streaming data and stabilized images bring increased recognition accuracy. Deep learning projects and features such as data analytics, model training, scene recognition and data analysis can be used to improve recognition accuracy.
