General Description.

The LiDAR focusing system makes it easy to focus when recording while holding manually, without having to rely on the texture of the lens surface. This is especially useful in low-light environments and results in exceptional focusing capabilities.

The new DJI LiDAR Rangefinder (RS) can project 43 200 measurement points, to detect over a range of 14 meters[1], and has an integrated camera with a 30mm equivalent focal length and a wide 70° field of view, to meet focusing needs in most scenarios. Pairing it with the new Focus engine (2022) also makes it possible, after calibration, to autofocus on manual lenses.

With the DJI LiDAR Rangefinder (RS), the RS 3 Pro supports ActiveTrack Pro, which offers improved target identification and tracking performance.

1. Tested in an environment without strong light. Under normal recording conditions, the human target detection distance is 7 meters.
